php-fpm 5.3.3 - dynamic or static?
June 17, 2010 11:46PM
Hey guys,

PHP 5.3.3 is coming out soon, and FPM is included by default. I've
compiled the latest release candidate of PHP-FPM 5.3.3 and I noticed
the included FPM config file has the process manager to "dynamic" by
default.

My question is this: is "dynamic" stable enough to be used in a
production environment, or do you guys still recommend the "static" pm
type?

the dynamic PM is not a huge hack on the code, to you can consider it
as stable. Test it and report any problems.

We recently started to use dynamic manager for one of websites.
Currently there has been no problems with that.
