Just recompiled php 5.2.10 with php-fpm patch and when I try to start php-fpm I get an error

Posted by iberkner
Trying to start php-fpm using:

php-fpm start

I get this error:

Starting php_fpm Error in argument 1, char 1: no argument for option -

What am I missing / doing wrong?

Thanks
do you have an /etc/php-fpm.conf (if that's where it is configured for,
which I believe is the default)
sounds to me like your config file is empty, broken, or non-existent?

Thanks!

I actually figured out what it was... a typo on my end.

Elaborate on the typo please, I'm getting the same segfault.

I have a script that builds php-fpm and php. I had a typo in the name of
the patch file (so it wasn't even getting patched). I think your error is
different :-( as its already built (i.e. you can run php-cgi with --fpm
option).
