Found a solution but need to confirm.

Is it save to change :

DEB_LDFLAGS_MAINT_APPEND=-Wl,--as-needed -pie
to
DEB_LDFLAGS_MAINT_APPEND=-Wl,--allow-multiple-definition -pie

Need advice.
