load balance and re-encrypt ssl

Hi all,

I have been looking through the docs and have found that nginx will load balance ssl if the cert is setup correctly. Is there an option to have it re-encrypt before sending to the web servers? What have others done to encrypt the traffic to their webservers (if not through nginx)? I will be load balancing in front of IIS.

Decrypting and sending to the webservers in plain text is not an option in my mind.

Thanks in advance.

-Andy
