Been getting this as well on reload. My reloads are for an automatic
script so I can tell you each reload is adding or removing a simple
VHOST, (just a server listening on a single IP, proxying it to another
IP, no cache)
The process crashing is the nginx Cache manager (used for another
vhost that is never added or removed on reload).

nginx version: nginx/0.8.49
built by gcc 4.3.2 (Debian 4.3.2-1.1)
configure arguments: --without-http_userid_module
--without-http_access_module --without-http_auth_basic_module
--without-http_autoindex_module --without-http_geo_module
--without-http_map_module --without-http_split_clients_module
--without-http_referer_module --without-http_uwsgi_module
--without-http_scgi_module --without-http_memcached_module

can I post a core dump? Sorry no not at this stage, I attempted to
follow the instructions in the wiki and nginx in gdb refused to start
so sorry this is a production server and I cant afford much downtime.
