Nginx vs. Litespeed servers (speed and performance)

Hello there are discussions on Reddit about Litespeed Technologies because they made some anonymous benchmarks website called http2benchmark org but **did not disclose** they are actually the owner of that website.

https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/f06vse/litespeed_servers_seem_like_a_marketing_scam_are/

In the benchmark results, they claim that Nginx is much slower than a Litespeed server and the details released about their tests are very vague and do not explain very much... it looks like they enabled LS Cache on Litespeed, but disabled FastCGI Cache on Nginx (dishonest?).

There are similar results on their company's blog.... very small details.

So let's ask Nginx experts, what do you think about this? Can Litespeed and Open Litespeed be faster than Nginx servers typically? Mostly it seems Litespeed is focused on shared hosting (they have partnerships with cPanel now) and WordPress websites, by the way.

Mostly all high-traffic WordPress sites and Alexa Top 1000 are using Nginx, I assume this because they are running dedicated VPS servers (only one websites on each Nginx server) to maximum stability and performance results. Nginx is not used much for shared hosting, because setting file permissions and stuff is more complicated than with Apache/Litespeed servers... likewise, cPanel / Litespeed never used for high-traffic sites.

What do you guys think?

Litespeed is faster than Nginx LEMP stacks or not? And the LS Cache is faster than FastCGI Cache? Some guys said maybe not but LSAPI is surely faster than PHP-FPM... well maybe true for Apache, but PHP-FPM on Nginx???
