Hey nginx users,

I have RoR application running on nginx/passenger. The problem is that sites - its' pingers like newrelic.com, monitor.us sometimes can't reach the application. In the meantime I can easily access the site from multiple devices or countries.

In rails application logs, there are not any visible failed requests/pings for the period of downtime( from the newrelic POV).

So I would just like to ask, don't you have experience with this kind of problems? How did your troubleshoot it? Any ideas for the cause of the ping failure? Could it be related to some nginx conf? I am asking you guys, because I would really like to solve the issue and isolate the cause of the problem :)
