Hello! I searched a bit for this idea and couldnt find directly covering what I want to do. hopefully this will not be a very redundant post. I was surprised to not find this question asked though I will admit.
I am trying to create a normal html/css/js website at my base domain (example.com), with a wordpress instance at a subdomain off of that (example.com/blog). there is nginx documentation located at https://www.nginx.com/resources/wiki/start/topics/recipes/wordpress/ which actually mentions multisite configurations, subdomains, and subdirectories. It is a kind of sparse article though and became unsure about the config file listed.

have anyone configured a website this way in the past?
