I'm new with NGINX, but I need to cook a solution to set up an NGINX cache server which returns cache content or redirect the request to remote docker registry. Would you provide simple steps and sample configuration on how to do it? Thank you very much.

Current configuration
us-west-2 region: artifactory (docker registrator/repo) on vm-1

mumbai region: vm-2 (currently download docker image from vm-1)

In future, plan to add this vm-3

mumbai region: vm-3 (as Nginx cache server to cache and redirect local docker downloading request from vm-2 to vm-1)

So on vm2: run docker run vm-1-or-otherhostname:5000/nginx will go to vm-3 check cache if not in the cache -> redirect to vm-1
