Nginx will load an html file but not a php file.

php-fpm is installed, and running.

# ps -ef | grep fpm
root 1555 1 0 09:11 ? 00:00:00 php-fpm: master process (/etc/php/7.3/fpm/php-fpm.conf)
www-data 1556 1555 0 09:11 ? 00:00:00 php-fpm: pool www
www-data 1557 1555 0 09:11 ? 00:00:00 php-fpm: pool www
root 9242 6353 0 10:08 pts/2 00:00:00 grep fpm

Here is my /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default file:

# In most cases, administrators will remove this file from sites-enabled/ and
# leave it as reference inside of sites-available where it will continue to be
# updated by the nginx packaging team.
#
# This file will automatically load configuration files provided by other
# applications, such as Drupal or Wordpress. These applications will be made
# available underneath a path with that package name, such as /drupal8.

I got it. I had to add a fastcgi_params files, and reference that file in the fastcgi-php.conf file.
