I've looked for an answer to this, admittedly I'm kind of new to all of this so maybe I'm just not searching for the right keywords.

I've got a setup where I'd like to use multiple cell phones as RTMP camera sources to feed into an OBS project. All of this works - it's just that the separate streaming keys are out of sync by a couple of seconds.

I can have a scene in OBS that grabs from say - rtmp://192.168.0.34/live/pixel3

And another scene that grabs from - rtmp://192.168.0.34/live/galaxys10

All of this works - it's just that when I switch from pixel3 to galaxys10, the galaxys10 is about 5 seconds or so behind pixel3, so it repeats the last 5 seconds. Or if I go from galaxys10 to pixel3 I skip 5 seconds of time.

I don't think this is a problem with OBS, because the problem presents itself if I just use vlc to read the raw RTMP streams.

Is there a configuration option I'm missing in my nginx configuration that will help with this offset? Or am I just out of luck?
