Hello, i have a really hard time getting any LDAP or LDAPS authentication to work with a portal supporting HTTPS. I have tried this package and obviously the http portal works ok https://github.com/nginxinc/nginx-ldap-auth, but changing to https seems to break it and i´m not even a bit good in python.

I have also tried this: https://github.com/kvspb/nginx-auth-ldap/ and I am not even close to getting it to work. Compilation works fine but the ldap module doesn´t start.

I want to use it with ELK and i am currently running authentication using sha512 encrypted password in htpasswd but i am really annoyed not beeing able to get ldap or ldaps running. There are a lot of detailed old guides out there for kvspb which seems really good, but it doesn´t seem to work in a newer nginx version.

Anyone able to help?
