https for Wowwee Rovio
September 18, 2014 10:00AM
Hi,

I have 2 devices that don't support https, a webcam and a Wowwee Rovio.

I am using nginX as a proxy to convert these to https so as to hide passwords for port 80.

Webcam uses only port 80 and works fine.

Rovio requires 2 ports, one for control panel(port 80) and one for mjpeg video (port 554).

The problem is I see the rovio's controls but not the video. It shows as a broken document.

Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong?

Also do I need anything special loaded for mjpeg.

nginX version is 1.7.4 installed on a RaspberryPI

Attached is relevant entries from definition.

Thanks, Rich

For whatever reason, the original message attachment was a binary when it should only had been a text file. So the same file with a TXT extension is attached.
