Upgrading nginx to most recent version
September 28, 2012 08:19AM
I have nginx 1.1.19 set up on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS -version. I have tried to upgrade nginx to the most recent version using the instructions in wiki, but with no luck. Currently the most recent version of nginx is 1.2.4. Any suggestions?

Does the LTS mean that updates are available quite rarely?

Did you already try this repository?

http://ppa.launchpad.net/nginx/stable/ubuntu/dists/precise/

It's "only" 1.2.3, but newer than yours. ;) 'development' instead of 'stable' will give you version 1.3.6.
