How to reverse-proxy virtual directories to several backend servers?
September 25, 2011 05:21PM
Hello everyone,

I am trying to setup nginx and would like to have the following setup:

a. mydomain.com/companyA requests go to localhost:8000
b. mydomain.com/companyB requests go to localhost:8001
c. mydomain.com is a PHP-based web site located in /opt/www/mydomain.com

I would also like to be able to modify the nginx config on the fly when adding new companies, for example mydomain.com/companyC requests to go to localhost:8002.

Can I also serve the static content from a single directory for all those web sites? I only need to handle mydomain.com/companyA/handler.yaws and refirect the requests to it to localhost:8000. The rest of the web site is static. How can I do that?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Don't bother anymore, as you can see there are houndred of non-answered topics, maybe if you will pay the dev then you may get some support.
