Hello,
we have setup a server with Nginx 1.0.0 + PHP-FPM + MySQL and use WordPress on it.
For some reason when I try to save for example the WP menu I get a 504 Gateway Timeout.
On another application I get a blank screen and this seems also to be a timeout.
We have increase the php.ini limit to 600 secs, but nothing changed.
(php-fpm.conf should be changed by this also, right?)
After reading online it might be also a problem with fastcgi_read_timeout.
It seems my server admin has changed this, but he is new to Nginx,
so maybe he did something wrong.
Where exactly do we have to change this value? Do we have to restart Nginx afterwards? How exactly?
Is there any other timeout that we might be overlooking?
Could it be a MySQL timeout or similar problem?
Please give us any advice you have and especially detailed explanations what we have to change!
Nginx is a brilliant webserver and has given us a really great speed increase!
But this one single problem is putting everything at hold...
I already like to thank you very much for your help!
Best Regards,
Markus
