Newbie question on reverse proxy.

Hi guys,

Just started with NGINX...
I have a machine running docker with the application that has frontend (port 80), backend (port 8080) and mqtt server (running via websocket, port 9001).
I'm trying to setup the nginx on another machine that should forward the traffic to the first one. I'm using nginx proxy manager, though it most likely just performs the configuration...
So, I configured the forwarding for the frontend on port 80, and it works without issues - I see the front page. But when the frontend (React) is trying to communicate back to the server, it does not work (and I cannot access 8080 manually as well). I've tried to add 8080 at a "custom locations" tab but probably not in the correct way, as it does not work.

How should I configure it so it would work, including the websocket?

Thanks,

Alex
