Just discovered thin tcp patches in Linux. Is there a way to selectively enable thin tcp on given connections?

Setup where I imagine this useful is nginx frontend and either ui req/resp or pub/sub backend

http 1.1 w keepalives and pipelining
nginx

origin server

assuming requests and responses are small.
