Apache to Nginx NEWBIE

Hi guys,

I am a newbie to nginx but i have heard all about its wonders so i want to make the move all the way from apache.
I want to take full advantage of nginx and basically i will be hosting wordpress websites mostly.

So what configuration can i use to take 100% control of nginx power?
I run on Linux, CentOS and will be using PHP, MySQL.

Thanks.
